Accounting Coordinator

The United States Dressage Federation (USDF), located in Lexington, KY a non-profit equine organization dedicated to the sport of dressage, has an immediate opening for a full time Accounting Coordinator.

This position is responsible for performing and completing all activities related to processing the company’s receivables. These duties include preparing daily cash receipts and deposits, maintain customer accounts, account reconciliation, investigate and resolve account irregularities or inquiries, resolve overdue accounts, prepare for month end closings, communicate with customers, establish a strong working relationship with staff in other departments.

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field
  • One (1) to three (3) years accounting experience
  • Strong accounting skills
  • Ability to analyze information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Detail oriented, accurate and organized

Education Programs Coordinator

The United States Dressage Federation (USDF), located in Lexington, KY a non-profit equine organization dedicated to the sport of dressage, has an immediate opening for a full time Education Programs Coordinator.

This position will serve as program liaison and provide support to volunteers in the development of education and competitive based programs, including content development and planning events. Travel may be required.

Applicants should possess the following:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Can work independently and in a team environment
  • Manage projects as well as multitask while meeting assigned deadlines
  • Handle a diverse workload
  • Proficient computer skills in database management and Microsoft Office applications
  • An equine background with dressage knowledge and experience is a plus

Education Programs Assistant

The United States Dressage Federation (USDF), located in Lexington, KY a non-profit equine organization dedicated to the sport of dressage, has an immediate opening for a full time Education Programs Assistant.

This position is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Education Department in many different areas including but not limited to creating and maintaining databases, editing, and scanning of documents, tracking statistics, creating multi-media presentations, video editing, administrating education, and competition programs. Candidate will be asked to participate in committee, task force and working group calls.

Applicants should possess the following:

  • Provide excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Accurate data entry
  • Project, time, and organizational management
  • Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and databases
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and video editing software
  • Self-motivation, problem solving and ability to multitask with attention to detail, accuracy, and promptness
  • Ability to work as a team player and to interface effectively with other departments
  • An equine background with dressage knowledge and experience is a plus
